CDESK 3.1.13 – current version / 28.1.2024
 
  • Companies
    • In the company details, the Email Address for Sending Invoices field has been added.
  • Projects and Project Deals
    • New Gantt chart for graphical planning of Projects/Project Deals with linked requests and tasks. TOP
    • New Project Log tab to record the progress of a Project or Project Deal. TOP  
    • Custom codes for Projects, Project Deals and downstream objects. TOP
    • New Project Documentation tab with all attachments added to the Project/Project Deal.
    • The Number of Days field added to Projects and Project Deals.
    • On Projects and Project Deals it is possible to set up a project team that will be involved in the execution of the Project / Project Deal.
    • Access to external projects and Project deals is now permission-driven.
    • Project Deals can be exported in xlsx format.
    • New filtering option on the Tasks tab in the Project Deal detail.
    • New field to indicate the percentage of completion of a Project or Project Deal.
    • In the list of Project Deals, the basic and economic views have been merged.
    • If a customer is changed on the Project, this change is automatically applied to each linked Project Deal.
  • Device Repair
    • New Device Repair functionality records the progress of the repair – from the receipt, through the repair itself to the handover to the customer. TOP
  • Requests
    • In the fields Requested By and Requested For not only customer account but also contact information can be filled in.
    • The Requested By and Requested For fields will change at each company change on the request if they are not available for the new company.
    • Modify the assignee preset to the request if they have a substitution or have requested a leave. Other assigned assignees and preferred substitutes are considered.
    • In the list of Regular Requests, new columns Request Type and Service Area.
  • Deals
    • Creating deals in requests is now faster thanks to deal templates. TOP
    • Added notification when the deal completion deadline is exceeded.
  • Invoicing
    • Advance invoicing enabled, solution for billing monthly flat rates.
    • New options to include/exclude null items from invoice.
    • Choose if the invoice number is displayed on the listing of jobs or not.
    • The invoice details removed from emails with listings of jobs and no invoice.
  • Documents
    • The pdf export of issued orders has been optimized. If the text is longer, it is split smoothly.
    • In the lists of Orders and Protocols, the records are sorted by default in descending order of creation date.
  • Fulfilments
    • Draft fulfilment templates in regular requests – automation of fulfilment entries and simple checklist of scheduled tasks.TOP
  • Tasks
    • Possible to send notifications when the task description is changed or when an attachment is added or removed from the task.
    • Columns with Project and Project Deal parameters have been added to the list of tasks.
  • User-Defined Fields
    • For User-Defined Fields, you can set a default value that will be automatically pre-populated.
    • Possible to set that the value of the User-Defined Field is not displayed in the mobile application.
    • Possible to copy selection lists.
  • Leave Requests
    • The calendar displays information about leave requests waiting for approval.
    • Under the aircraft icon in the top bar of the CDESK system you can find pending leave requests awaiting approval.
  • Knowledge Base
    • Button to insert text from the Knowledge Base added to the text editor.
  • Users and Groups
    • Possible to perform an audit over a user group.
CDESK 3.1.12 – 16.11.2023

NOTICE:

The current version of the CDESK software is 3.1.12. From the next version 3.1.13, the license conditions for the CDESK Silver license will be observed, according to which no more than 25% of the purchased accounts can log in to the web interface at any one time. Unlimited access will only be allowed via the mobile and desktop application. In the current version 3.1.12 and previous versions, the CDESK web interface can be accessed even when this limit is exceeded due to ongoing development over the desktop and mobile application.

Within the TOP updates you will find a tip, how to optimize the use of Silver licenses.

  • Companies
    • When you create a new company, the language setting for the issued accounting documents is determined by the default language of the environment.
  • Projects
    • Pipeline – summary economic overview of all project deals. TOP
    • In all modal windows for selecting a project deal, the name of the linked project is displayed.
    • The list of project deals can be exported in XLSX format.
  • Requests
    • It is possible to configure custom status for open requests. TOP
    • The Branch field appears on the request only if the company has branches assigned to it in the configuration database.
    • New permission to edit the request type field on a completed request.
  • Fulfilments
    • Approval of fulfilments and optional billing of fulfilments as approved. TOP
    • Filtering in the list of fulfilments by link.
  • Work Orders
    • Work orders can be automatically generated after creating a stock issue note and after editing items of the stock issue note.
  • Deals
    • It is possible to set the deal name not to be displayed in the selection of the billing item in the fulfilment.
  • Documents
    • New module for registering documents. TOP
  • Invoicing
    • Received invoices can be exported in ISDOC format.
    • For incoming invoices, the uniqueness of the incoming invoice number with the same supplier is checked.
    • The constant symbol has been changed to a selection list on both registered and issued invoices.
  • Offers
    • The field Estimated Start Date has been added.
    • The Estimated Date of Stocking can be recorded on the offer items.
  • Configuration Database
    • A configuration item can be linked to records (such as requests) of any company.
    • In the list of configuration items, you can set the default display separately for each Main Group and Item Type.
  • Approval
    • Automatic creation of the approval process during request resolution.
    • Option to create another approval even on a request that is in Waiting for Approval
    • Multiple approval rules can be defined for free approval.
    • Approval steps have been added with new approver roles that are taken from configuration items, such as the person responsible for the asset area.
    • You can set a substitute approver for the approval step.
    • User-defined fields can be optionally edited during the approval process.
  • General Functions
    • Optional optimization of the use of CDESK Silver licenses. TOP
    • Clearer display of CDESK and CM icons for switching menu tabs in the top left corner.
CDESK 3.1.11 – 11.9.2023
  • Requests
    • During the approval process, the request may be returned for completion and then for approval. TOP
    • The status of the approval process steps on the request is also displayed on the printed request.
    • Modernized visual appearance of request discussions on the web portal.
    • New functionality to view records of fulfillments and status changes between discussion posts on the Discussion
    • Dates on the request can be entered back in time (authorized users only).
    • Possible to set free text in the Requested By and Requested For fields in the regular request form.
    • New option to edit additional properties on the request even when the request is completed.
    • The history of requests shall record who and when confirmed that there is no need to reply to the discussion.
  • Companies
    • In the XLS export of companies, the general mail is displayed even if it is taken from a linked contact.
  • Invoicing
    • Invoices together with listings of jobs can be sent in bulk by email. TOP
    • The date of the taxable transaction and the invoice due date shall be determined according to the settings in the accounting entity.
    • It is possible to change the link to the registered order on the issued invoice. Note: Solution for the deduction from prepaid transport will be in one of the next updates of version 11.
  • Documents
    • The print report of the issued order has been improved.
    • In the register of documents, a search by Sender, Recipient, Project Code and Project columns has been added.  
  • Fulfillments
    • Possible to create fulfillments even if there are multiple assignees. TOP
    • Possible to edit fulfillments after invoicing.
  • Message Processing
    • If a mail received to CDESK exceeds the allowed size, it cannot be processed and the sender is notified about it.
  • Offers
    • Improved functionality as well as the visual appearance of the Offers module. TOP
    • The method of selecting stock items for the offer has been modified.
  • Configuration database (CMDB)
    • New basic property Form Information has been added, which appears in the form as an embedded block without a name. TOP
    • New Main Groups have been added – Cost Center and Property Area.
    • Existing links on the configuration item are also displayed when you print it.
  • Leave Requests
    • The time off taken so far is summarized under the aircraft icon on the top bar. TOP
    • Leave requests are shown in the calendar. TOP
    • If the user has exceeded the limit for compensatory leave, they will not be able to request this type of leave.
    • Values of 30 minutes and 15 minutes have been added to time units of leave requests.
    • You can set the time unit separately on each leave request template.
  • Approval
    • Approval steps have been added with new approver roles – Responsible for the Area, Responsible for the Cost Center, Superior of the Cost Center Responsible.
  • General Functions
    • When setting icon and tile colors, it is possible to mix your own color, whereas until now it was only possible to select from a predefined palette.

  • Address Book – Companies
    • New Records tab in Company details. You can access requests, tasks, offers, etc. directly from the company TOP
    • Possibility to record multiple contacts for a company of private person type.
  • Requests
    • New clearer design of the list of requests that simplifies the work with requests. TOP
    • Creating a new request and work order from a discussion post in the request.
    • New setting for assignee preference in the request template – first assignee to be assigned to the company.
    • When setting up a user or user group on the request template, an icon is displayed to indicate the type of account.
    • Added sorting of requests by Time to Own in the list of requests.
    • New filtering by deal number in the list of requests.
  • Deals
    • New ordered view of the list of fulfillments on the deal. TOP
    • The Billing Items menu option will automatically become available when deals are enabled.

  • Invoicing
    • QR code for invoice payment can be generated also for Czech customers. TOP
    • Fixed transport data is aggregated and reported as a total.
    • The material used on the fulfillments is displayed in the preview of the prepared invoice
  • Documents
    • Modified design of the listing of jobs for the invoice.
    • It is possible to change the order of items on the invoice via Drag&Drop.
    • Possible to use variables in the Number Format field in the register of documents.
  • Fulfillments
    • It is also possible to open a request that has been completed from the fulfillment form.
  • Message Processing
    • The list of messages to be processed can now be exported to an XLS file.
    • Faster search in the list of messages to be processed.
  • CMDB Configuration Database
    • Thumbnails of CI items that appear in the list of items. TOP
    • Quick selection of columns to search against in the list of CI items.
    • Changing a company that is linked to a CI item is possible even if there are requests linked to the CI item.
    • Set a separator if the CI item name is automatically created by multiple additional properties.
  • Additional Properties
    • Loading of selection lists that contain many items has been sped up.
  • Leave Requests
    • Leave balances are calculated and displayed more clearly in leave requests.
  • Connectors, API
    • Possibility to enable more detailed logging for the AD Azure connector.
  • Users and Groups
    • Possible to copy permissions by another user or user group. TOP
    • The History tab records changes to the CDESK license and other license parameters.
    • A column has been added to the list of users with information about the last time the user logged in.
  • Approval
    • Information about the approval process is recorded in the request history and other enhancements associated with the approval.

CDESK 3.1.9 – 5.6.2023

  • Address Book
    • Additional properties are displayed in a separate tab in the company form.
    • The order of company types, categories and groups can be set.
    • Display a flag on the company to indicate that the place is archived.
    • In the list of contacts, columns Created By, Time of Creation, Modified By and Last Modified have been added.
  • Projects – Business Agenda
    • Introduction to the new module for economic project management. TOP

    • In the catalogue of requests, tiles have been added for specific companies without the need to select a company. TOP
    • Added the ability to insert additional properties to the outgoing notification from Ext-mail.
    • Assign a request from the catalogue of requests to the logged-in user in a scenario with assignee group.
    • In the list of requests, a new condition in the advanced filter – Assigned to Me.
    • In request templates, you can set constraints for selecting a status, reasons for request completion, solution methods when completing the request, and causes for the request.
    • A new obligation setting has been added in the request templates for the branch and place selection.
    • When sending a discussion with the customer, it is possible to switch the request to the Waiting for Customer
    • Solution and Internal Note columns have been added to the list of requests.
    • In the request form, the Solution and Internal Note fields have been reduced.
  • Deals
    • In the Invoicing of Deals, sorting by last invoice date has been added.
  • Invoicing
    • The date of the taxable transaction has been added to the invoices issued.
    • Added the option to set the logo and stamp in the company (accounting entity) settings. When set, they are used in preference to the global settings.
  • Documents
    • Print report for the deal acceptance report.
  • Fulfillments
    • New columns have been added to the list of fulfillments: Request Assignee and Request Status.
  • CMDB Configuration Database
    • Added columns to the modal window when selecting computers from the Configuration Database, for example when inserting them into fulfillments.
  • Reports
    • New reports on fulfilments by billing item. TOP
  • Users and Groups
    • Restriction of place and branch selection for users with assigned company.
  • Approval
    • Flexible Approval – the ability to request a predefined approval process while the request is in progress. TOP

CDESK Updates for Version 3.1.8

  • Contacts
    • Added bulk editing in the list of contacts.
    • Possible to view columns with the contact’s properties and filter by them in the list of contacts.
  • Requests
    • New Balance of Requests widget with daily increase and decrease of requests. TOP
    • A new type of attachments has been introduced for uploading confidential files containing sensitive data. TOP
    • Recipients of mails from messages to process listed in To and Copy, can be added to the new request as manually added notification recipients.
    • The selection of columns for the main search in the list of requests is also displayed when using the advanced filter.
    • Keeping the simple filter search box on the screen even if it is empty.
    • Flip the permission logic for making requests available/unavailable by deal.
    • Showing the icon name in an existing tile in the catalogue of requests.
    • In the advanced filter of the list of requests and work orders, a Supplier condition has been added and can be specified in the Waiting for 3rd Party / Waiting for Supplier
    • You can set the request template to display a field that is not available for editing when creating a request.
    • Changes made to the description of the request shall be carried over to the request description in the approval process.
  • Work Orders
    • Additional properties from the request can be made available to the work order assignee for editing.
  • Deals
    • You can view and search for additional properties in the list of deals. TOP
    • A new button in the list of deals that allows you to view the linked billing items under all deals at once.
    • Multiple users can be selected in the Responsible Person field in the deal.
    • Color coded button to add internal fulfillment via the hamburger menu in the list of billing items.
  • Invoicing
    • Modifications to the display of regular fee usage on the invoice draft.
    • The QR code for payment (only Slovak for now) is also displayed on the invoice without a link to the deal.
    • If multiple accounts are added to an invoice, they are also displayed in the invoice pdf
  • Fulfillments
    • The ordering of fulfillments by the selected column already works for grouping.
    • More compact layout of the fulfillment dialog.
    • When simplified entry of the fulfillment due date is made, an icon is displayed that allows the fulfillment duration to be subtracted from the set time.
    • Additional properties can be displayed in the list of fulfillments.
    • In the advanced filter of the list of fulfillments, is/isn´t options have been added for the Company
    • The list of fulfillments can be sorted by the From-To
  • CMDB Configuration Database
    • New permission to read/edit additional properties. TOP
    • Ability to assign configuration items (CIs) to multiple companies.
    • A new additional property of the organizational structure type.

    • Supervisor approval – the approval rule may define that the user’s supervisor must first comment on the approval subject. TOP

  • Companies and Contacts
    • A field for adding attachments has been added to the company form.
    • List of contacts searchable by company type and category.
  • Requests
    • New field in the form – Request Code. It is used for better identification of the request.
    • It is possible to set the whole assignee group as an assistant assignee.
    • In the ext-mail, the type of account is displayed next to the address.
    • A new section Operations over Requests has been added to the permissions of requests.
    • The list of requests can be filtered by missed Deadline to Select Assignee.
    • If the discussion post originated through message processing, the post contains a link to view the entire mail communication.
    • The permission to edit the Deals field in the request form has been added.
    • It is possible to search in the central selection list of service areas.
  • Deals
    • Accounting items on the deal can be copied.
    • New columns in the list of requests and fulfillments with information about deals.

    • The function that sets the original sender of a forwarded message as the sender of the message can be disabled.
    • To increase clarity, the background colors have been changed for some options under the Action
  • Additional Properties
    • Obligation to fill the additional property depending on the request status. TOP
    • Multi-level selection lists – additional levels of items can be added to each item of the selection list. TOP
    • Translations can be added to entries in custom selection lists.

    • Filtering by Deadline to Select Assignee has been added to the request report.
  • Connectors and APIs
    • Active Directory Connector
      • Added the ability to assign to CDESK groups based on a selected attribute.
      • In the basic connector settings, the option to set multiple Active Directory synchronization times with CDESK has been added.
      • In the settings for creating CDESK accounts based on Active Directory, an option has been added to synchronize the job position by AD attribute.
    • Linking Multiple CDESKs
      • Attachments added to offers from the supplier environment are transferred to offers in the customer environment.
  • General Functions
      • Identity records, tracking of changes in user data. TOP
      • Some Save buttons have been renamed to Create.
CDESK 3.1.4 – 18.11.2022

CDESK Updates in Version 3.1.4

  • Requests
    • Categorization of requests. Users can now access requests of others according to a new parameter – request category. TOP
    • Organizational Unit – a new feature for controlling access to records based on the organizational structure under which the request falls. TOP
    • In the statement of entity’s implementation in the request form, the sum of internal fulfillments is also displayed.
    • Note for assignees was renamed to Internal Discussion.
    • New colors for tiles of the catalog of requests.
    • For the Solution field, it is now possible to set it to be mandatory when closing a request.
    • Filtering by missed response time has been added to the list of requests.
    • In the list of regular requests, new filter condition Request Generation for the next/last generation date has been added.
    • The condition All has been added in the simple filter for the Assignee
    • Icons have been added to the global settings to show help for each setting and whether the setting is subject to permissions.
    • Before sending discussion posts or Ext-mail posts, the spelling of the email address is checked.
    • Requests have been moved above Deals in the menu.
  • Request Discussion
    • The new settings for sending discussion notifications allow you to set the account name and an optional string as the sender’s name. TOP
    • We fixed the bug when later added recipients did not get the follow-up posts.
  • Fulfillments
    • In the advanced filter for the list of fulfillments, the condition Invoicing date of fulfillment has been added.
  • Billing
    • Strengthening the link between the company in the address book and the entity. More information is taken from the address book data.
  • Invoices
    • Sending issued invoices by e-mail directly from CDESK. TOP
    • The ERP Connection tab has been added to the invoice. When Abra Flexi connector is enabled, it contains a link to redirect to the Abra Flexi software.
  • Companies
    • New columns have been added in the company form under Bank Accounts: Account Name, IBAN / Domestic account, Account Number and Currency.
  • Message Processing
    • Manual processing of the message as an ext-mail on the request.
  • Additional Properties
    • Option to display additional properties in tabs.
    • Heading Additional Properties is no longer displayed in the form of records.
    • The button for adding additional properties has been removed from the record form. These can only be added via the settings for the module, or via templates – for example, via request templates.
  • Requests for Leave
    • A new permission Approval of Request Leave has been added to the setting Offer as Approver.
  • Connectors and APIs
    • In the JIRA connector, multiple CDESK deals can be added to a single JIRA project.

    • Address Book – Companies
      • A note can be added to the customer that appears as a hint in the request form.
      • In extended filter, we added:
        • Filtering conditions – Membership Validity, Legal Form.
        • Filtering options for conditions: Last Modified, Created, Created By, Modified By.
    • Deals
      • Recording of the deal type. You can filter by type in the list of deals and requests. The type is also included in the XLS export of deals. TOP
      • Elimination of blockage at deal completion due to uninvoiced fulfillments that are linked to the deal.
      • The list of deals can be filtered by type, company category and group.
    • Requests
      • New templates for discussion posts. TOP
      • New option to make requests available depending on the deal visibility. TOP
      • New option to filter the list of requests to all assignee groups of which the user is member.
      • Attachments added to the linked fulfillments will be displayed directly in the request attachments.
      • New column in the list of requests – Deal code. The column can be selected in the advanced filter and included in the XLS export.
      • The result of customer testing in the Testing by Customer status is recorded in the history.

      • When the request is changed from regular to internal or vice versa, the changes are automatically saved in the draft.
      • Possibility to display SLA detail when selecting request priority.
    • Work Orders
      • If the work order displays an internal discussion from the linked request, the record contains information that it originated from the request.
    • Fulfillments
      • Adding new stock cards is also possible directly in issue slips added via the fulfillment form.
      • Filter the list of fulfillments by transport and place.
      • The Place of Fulfillment field can be set as optional, obligatory or disabled.
    • Message Processing
      • Unprocessed messages can be manually included in the processing according to the rule. TOP
      • When entering a new request from the received message, buttons have been added to block notifications and to add recipients.
      • Drag&Drop sorting of mailboxes used in the Message Processing module.
      • All users will have access to the .eml file from which the request was created.
    • Offers
      • Attachment can be added for the entire offer. TOP
      • If the Internal Proposal for Verification field is filled-in in the offer, it will appear as Verified Fulfillment Time under Total Fulfillment Duration when putting a fulfillment on the task that was created by the offer realization.
    • Configuration Database – CMDB
      • Accelerated import to CMDB with elimination of the number of items to import. TOP
      • New fields for objects in the database (in CMDB): TOP
        • Service Owner – only available for the Catalog of Provided Services.
